Children's Privacy
Lumi is not for children. This page explains the minimum ages for Lumi and its AI features, guardian consent for minors, and how guardians can reach us.
Lumi is provided by Zhixike Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. (“XicoAI”, “we”, “us”). Lumi is a personal life app designed for adults: it holds journals, finances, health and life plans, all of which call for mature judgment. This page is part of our Privacy Policy and explains how we treat the personal information of minors. It follows the laws that apply to us, including China’s Personal Information Protection Law, Law on the Protection of Minors, Regulations on the Protection of Minors Online and Provisions on the Online Protection of Children’s Personal Information, the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Lumi is not for children
Lumi is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Lumi has no public profiles, no social features, no way to talk to strangers and no advertising.
On this page, a “child” means someone under 14 in mainland China, and elsewhere someone below the age at which local law lets a person consent to the processing of their own personal information (for example, 13 in the United States). A “minor” means anyone under 18.
2. Minimum ages

By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the minimum age where you live. By using AI features, you confirm that you are at least 18 (or the higher age required by local law). If the birthday you enter in Lumi shows that you do not meet an age requirement, we may restrict the related features.
3. Users under 18
If you are under 18, please use Lumi only with your parent’s or guardian’s consent and guidance, and ask them to read our Privacy Policy, Personal Information Collection List and this page with you. By continuing to use Lumi, you confirm that your parent or guardian has agreed to your use of Lumi under these rules.
For users under 18, we:
- do not provide AI features. Lumi’s AI companion, AI briefings, AI memory and related features are for adults only, so a minor’s content is not sent to AI providers through them;
- never show ads, send marketing messages or build profiles for marketing;
- collect only what is needed to provide the service, and ask for separate consent before processing sensitive personal information;
- like every user, let them export, correct and delete their data, or delete their account, at any time.
4. If we learn we have collected a child’s information
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child (under 14 in mainland China, or below the legal age where they live) without verifiable parental or guardian consent, we will delete that information promptly and close the account.
If we learn that a user under 18 has used AI features, we will turn off AI features for that account and delete any AI memories that were created.
If you believe we may have collected a child’s personal information, please contact us right away (see section 6).
5. Rights of parents and guardians
As a parent or guardian, you can, on behalf of the minor in your care:
- access and get a copy of their personal information in Lumi;
- correct or complete inaccurate information;
- ask us to delete their personal information;
- withdraw consent you gave earlier;
- delete their account.
To protect the minor’s information, we need to verify that you are their guardian and identify their account, for example by asking for documents showing guardianship and having the minor confirm on a signed-in device. Once verified, we will act on and reply to your request within 15 working days.
6. Contact us
Email support@xicoai.com with “Personal Information Protection” in the subject line, and your message will go to the person responsible for personal information protection. Please tell us your relationship to the minor, the sign-in method they use (such as an email address or phone number), and what you would like us to do.

7. Changes to these rules
We may update these rules when the law or our service changes. For material changes, we will notify you in advance as described in the Privacy Policy.
